Who we are

SVD Innovative Literacy Services is a home-based virtual business proudly rooted in Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories. We specialize in structured literacy intervention for children aged 5 to 11, using research-based methods grounded in the IMSE Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach.

Founded and operated by Sierra Daley, a dedicated educator with over 12 years of experience in the Northwest Territories’ education system, our mission is simple yet powerful:
To provide school-aged children with explicit, individualized literacy instruction that builds strong foundational reading skills.

What We Offer

  • Formal Assessments to identify strengths and needs

  • One-on-One Virtual Intervention using multi-sensory, gamified instruction

  • Ongoing Progress Monitoring with detailed assessments

  • Final Evaluations to measure growth

  • Collaboration with Schools and Teachers to ensure aligned support

  • Support for Families navigating Psychoeducational Assessments and literacy diagnoses

We specialize in working with children who are struggling with reading or have been diagnosed with a reading disability, such as Dyslexia. Our interventions are designed to be engaging, multisensory, and evidence-based, with a strong focus on auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning.
